(Placa de plata de Doctores del Claustro Extraordinario de la La Real Academia de Doctores de España). Instituted in 1922. Multi-piece construction, insignia in silver with cornflower blue enamels, illustrating the Francoist Spanish coat-of-arms used between 1938 and 1945, the arms placed upon a shield, a ribbon banner above inscribed "DOCTORES DEL CLAUSTRO EXTRAORDINARIO" (Doctors of the Extraordinary Cloister), the shield surmounted by the Franco crown, all of which is mounted to an eight-pointed silver gilt base, each star point with five pairs of faceted rays, with a single faceted ray between each star point, unmarked, measuring 88.3 mm (w) x 87.7 mm (h), vertical pinback flanked by dual stays, intact enamels, very light contact, near extremely fine.
