(Orden Karađorđeve Zvezde). Instituted on April 15th, 1904. (c. 1917 issue). Constructed of gilded silver and multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a white enameled Cross Pattée with rays in the quadrants between the arms of the cross as well as crossed swords, the obverse with a central blue enameled medallion bearing a white enameled Serbian Cross, surrounded by a broad white enameled ring inscribed by the Words “For Faith and Freedom 1804” in script, the reverse with a central circular red enameled medallion bearing a Serbian double-headed eagle, surrounded by a broad blue enameled ring inscribed “Peter I” and dated “1904”, suspended from a hollow swivel crown decorated with red, green, and white enamels from a period-original neck ribbon, silver hallmarked and maker marked by “Arthus-Bertrand & Co., Paris”, measuring 46.6 mm (w) x 76.5 mm (l), weighing 34.70 grams, in better than very fine condition. A scarce award.
