Serbia, Kingdom. A Red Cross Society Decoration, with Case

Instituted 1882. In silver, a red enamelled cross, double headed eagle superimposed on the obverse, the date 1876 on the reverse, surmounted by a crown, measures 40.0 mm (w) x 62.0 mm (h), marked 800 on the ring denoting silver fineness, worn on original ribbon.

Contained in the original case of issue, a white leatherette covered hardshell case with a crown on the obverse, the base of the case with a velvet covered recessed medal bed, marked in the interior lid, measures 67 mm (w) x 130 mm (h) x 26 mm (d), wear around edges, functional clasp, in near very fine condition.
