A medal bar for distinguished combat and labour service featuring four orders and medals, including:
1. An Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Type VI, Variation II, constructed of silver with gilt and multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of a cogwheel with white enamels filling the voids between the spokes, the edges bearing an inscription of “ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ!” (“WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!”), surrounding a central depiction of a hydroelectric dam with water executed in blue enamels, overlaid by a raised and gilded sickle and hammer, surrounded by a gilded oak leaf wreath, topped by a red enameled flag bearing initials “СССР” (“USSR”), set above wheat stalks joined together at the centre by a red enameled five-pointed star, the reverse maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the Soviet Mint, engraved with an award number of “784340”, measuring 37.15 mm (w) x 47.91 mm (h), demonstrating minor flecking and surface scratching to the enamels, in extremely fine condition.
2. A Medal for Bravery, Type II, constructed of a silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate, the obverse bearing a central depressed inscription of “ЗА ОТВАГУ” (“FOR COURAGE”), situated above a raised depiction of a T-35 tank and and below aircraft in formation, the six o’clock position overlaid by depressed initials “СССР”, the reverse stamped with an issue number of “2073069”, measuring 37.33 mm in diameter, demonstrating the loss of the obverse enamels, in better than very fine condition.
3. A Medal for Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945, constructed of gilded brass, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 32.08 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
4. A Medal for Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945, constructed of a copper alloy, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 32.26 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
All suspended from a 125 mm-long bar consisting of four five-sided aluminum plates clipped together at the reverse, with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, demonstrating minor soiling throughout the ribbons, in extremely fine condition.
