(Георгиевский крест 4-й степени). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a central depiction of St. George slaying a dragon, the reverse bearing a central Cyrillic monogram of St. George (СГ/SG), the six o’clock arm bearing a grade of “4 СТЕП” (“IV CLASS”), the three and nine o’clock arms bearing an award number of “436445”, unmarked, measuring 34.40 mm (w) x 40.96 mm (h), weighing 10.4 grams, demonstrating sporadic nicks to the base metal and the loss of its suspension ring, in very fine condition.
Footnote: Records indicate that cross #436445 was issued to Alexei Romanovich Plenkin.
