A pair of commemorative table medals, including:
1 A Bronze Medal of the Department of Land Management and Agriculture, the obverse bearing raised and leftward-facing profiles of Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II, circumscribed by names and titles in Russian Cyrillic, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “ОТЪ ГЛАВНАГО УПРАВЛЕНІЯ ЗЕМЛЕУСТРОИСТВА И ЗЕМЛЕДѢЛІЯ” (“FROM THE MAIN DEPARTMENT OF LAND MANAGEMENT AND AGRICULTURE”), unmarked, measuring 65 mm in diameter, demonstrating minor tarnishing and some edge nicks, in better than very fine condition.
2. A Count Illarion Vorontsov-Dashkov commemorative medal, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward-facing bust of the Count, flanked by name and title in Russian Cyrillic, the reverse bearing an elaborate coat of arms flanked and topped by inscriptions indicating that the medal was issued to commemorate the Vorontsov-Dashkov’s time as Minister of Imperial Properties, the obverse and reverse bearing illegible engraver and maker marks, measuring 68 mm in diameter, demonstrating some edge nicks in addition to age-related rubbing or polishing which has rendered the obverse inscription illegible, in very fine condition.
