For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Императорский и Царский Орден Св. Станислава). Instituted in 1765. Five-piece construction, in Gold with black, white and green enamels, with a stylized "S" in red on both centrepieces, weighing 1 gram, measuring 14.3 mm (w) x 15.5 mm (h), chipping and loss evident in the green enamels on the wreath surrounding the obverse centrepiece, otherwise the enamels are intact, fine.
Footnote: The Order of Saint Stanislaus (also spelled Stanislas) was a Polish order of knighthood founded in 1765 by King Stanisław August Poniatowski of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. It remained under the Kingdom of Poland between 1765 and 1831. In 1831, it was incorporated under the Russian Empire until the Russian revolution in 1917. Today, there are two recognized orders that claim descent from the original Order of Saint Stanislaus: the Russian dynastic Order of Saint Stanislaus (House of Romanov), awarded by the head of the House of Romanov as former sovereigns of the Russian Empire, and the Polish Order of Polonia Restituta, a governmental order of merit awarded by the President of Poland and considered by some as a type of successor. It is awarded in three grades.
