Russia (Imperial); Black and white, faded to a sepia-toned look, obverse illustrating a group of twenty Russian soldiers, in a forested setting, one wearing a series of shooting excellence badges along with a medal on his breast, six others wearing shooting excellence badges on their right breasts, 123 mm x 170 mm, mounted to a 202 mm x 253 mm white-faced board, the photo framed in a Gold-coloured ornate border, handwritten inscription in black ink in Russian with the number "15" above and dated "1890-1893." below, reverse with a handwritten list in black ink identifying all twenty individuals in the photograph, light spotting evident on the obverse of the board, near extremely fine.
