(орден Святого Владимира). Instituted September 22nd, 1782. In 14K Gold, a beautiful St. Vladimir in the form of a cross pattee with red and black thick enamel arms, swords piercing the central medallion delicately hand painted insignia, the reverse inscribed in Russian with the institution date “September 22, 1782”, on a loop for suspension from its correct modern replacement ribbon, marked with several kokoshnik marks on the sword hilts and suspension loop, measures 38.8 mm (w) x 43.5 mm (h), weighs 14.67 grams, worn on a correct replacement ribbon, small areas of enamel repair at the edge of the obverse 3 o’clock and reverse 9 o’clock arm, a lovely decoration in extremely fine condition.
