A beautiful Russian made cross pattee constructed of Gold with white enamelled arms, the obverse with a central red enamelled medallion bearing a hand painted depiction of Saint George slaying a dragon in multi-coloured enamels, the reverse with a white enamelled medallion bearing a black Cyrillic monogram of “СГ” for “СВЯТОГО ГЕОРГИЯ” (“SAINT GEORGE”), the twelve o’clock arm with an integral loop, marked with 56 gold mark and AK denoting Albert Keibel manufacture, measuring 37.43 mm (w) x 41.20 mm (h - inclusive of suspension ring), weighs 7.31 grams (excluding ribbon), accompanied by a five point ribbon (missing suspension ring to connect to cross), reverse medallion slightly loose, enamels intact and in pristine condition, very minimal signs of wear or age, in better than extremely fine condition.
