Russian made, a Cross pattee constructed of gilded bronze with white enamelled arms, the obverse with a central white enamelled medallion bearing a hand painted depiction of Saint George slaying a dragon in multi-coloured enamels, the reverse with a white enamelled medallion bearing a black Cyrillic monogram of “СГ” for “СВЯТОГО ГЕОРГИЯ” (“SAINT GEORGE”), the twelve o’clock arm with an integral loop and suspension ring connecting to a period correct replacement ribbon, unmarked but of typical Eduard manufacture, measuring 36.22 mm (w) x 40.19 mm (h - inclusive of suspension ring), weighs 12.89 grams (excluding replacement ribbon), small enamel flakes to both obverse and reverse, remains in very fine condition.
