Order of the Crown of Romania, V Class Knight, Civil Division, Type I (1881-1932) (in silvered bronze with red and white enamels, measuring 39.5 mm (w) x 39.5 mm (h), original ribbon with the ends sewn together); Medal for Manhood and Loyalty with Crossed Swords, II Class, Type II (1916-1947) (in silvered bronze, measuring 28 mm (w) x 56.5 mm (h) inclusive of its crossed swords and wreath suspension, original ribbon with hook and eye); and King Carol I Centennial Medal 1839-1939 (in bronze gilt, engraver marked "E W BECKER" on the obverse, measuring 35.2 mm (w) x 54.8 mm (h), original ribbon with hook and eye). Very fine.

Footnote: The Order of the Crown of Romania was instituted on March 14, 1881 and amended on May 9, 1932. It was awarded for conspicuous and special merit, in five grades: Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight. The Medal for Manhood and Loyalty was instituted on November 3, 1903, with the designation for Swords being added on December 25, 1916. The King Carol I Centennial Medal was established by King Carol II in 1939, in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of King Carol I. It was awarded to members of the Royal Family, members of the royal court, members of the diplomatic corps, Knights of the Order of Michael the Brave, recipients of the Military Bravery Medal, recipients of the Commemorative Medal for the Second Balkan War, and all veterans who served in the Romanian Armed Forces under King Carol I.
