Description

Poland (Republic, People's Republic); Republic: Army Medal, Type II (London issue) (bronze gilt, 34.5 mm); Republic: Medal for Odra, Nysa, Baltic 1945 (bronze gilt, 33.2 mm); and People's Republic: Medal for the 30th Year of the Peoples Republic of Poland (silvered bronze, 31.8 mm). Un-mounted, original ribbons, better than very fine.

Footnote: The Army Medal was established in 1945 by the Commander of the Polish Armed Forces in the West and awarded to all members of the Army who served on active duty. The Medal for Odra, Nysa, Baltic was established in 1945 and awarded to military and civilian personnel who fought at or near Polish borders. The Medal for the 30th Year of the Peoples Republic of Poland was established in 1974 and awarded to all military and civilian personnel who served at least fifteen years in professional and social service positions.
