Description

Instituted in 1921. The sash badge in bronze gilt, consisting of a white enamelled Maltese Cross with ball finials, obverse center featuring an enamelled white Polish coat of arms with a crowned eagle on a red enamelled background, encircled by an enamelled blue border inscribed by POLONIA RESTITUTA, the reverse center presenting the date 1918, inclusive of the integral ring measuring 68.9 mm (w) x 68.7 mm (h), weighs 67.28 grams, accompanied by a replacement red sash ribbon, enamels intact, displaying light wear, extremely fine.
