Description

(Ordre van Oranje-Nassau). Instituted in 1892. In silver with blue, white, red and green enamels, gilt lion and cypher on the centrepieces, measuring 39.0 mm (w) x 61.4 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, intact enamels, original ribbon, extremely fine.

Hardshelled design on both the lid and base with a orange simulated leather-look cloth exterior, the lid bearing the Royal Netherlands crown in gold-coloured ink, maker marked "J.M.J. Van WIELIK" on the blue satin inside lid, blue felt recessed medal bed, push release, measuring 65 mm (w) x 140 mm (h) x 23 mm (d), wear and scuffing evident on the exterior, very fine.
