(Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana). Instituted 1951. Three cased sets of the order:
Dame (Ladies Award) - in silver gilt and enamels, full size, worn on bow ribbon denoting female recipient, enamels intact, very fine. Accompanied by a miniature on a bow ribbon. Both contained in original case of issue, green leatherette with interior maker mark Cravanzola Succ Gardino, Roma, functional clasps, very fine.
Officer - in silver gilt and enamels, full size, worn on ribbon with central rosette, dark patina, enamels intact, in very fine condition. Accompanied by a small rosette with a castle device. Contained in original case of issue, maker mark of Arturo Pozzi Roma, functional clasp, very fine.
Knight - in gilded white metal and enamels, full size, knight ribbon, very fine. Accompanied by a miniature of the order and a green and red enamelled boutonniere. Contained in original case marked JOHNSON MILANO ROMA on the interior lid, functional clasp, very fine.
