United Kingdom. A Mixed Lot of Ephemera Including a Unique 1943 Sketchbook

A Federal Internment Office and Hospitality ID Card belonging to Capt. Major Achilles Mazza, inclusive of a black and white photo, dated June 26, 1945, denoting the recipient as a military intern in Switzerland, measures 70 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), light staining to exterior, edges worn, in better than fine condition. 

A Second edition “Pierre of Normandy” by Paul Tabori, dated 1945, a hardcover book comprising 67 printed pages with illustrations throughout, by Sylvan Press. Exhibiting light wear and ripping to the dust cover, remains in very fine condition. 

A Soldier's sketchbook belonging to Curly Ganes, cover painted “SEAFORTH CANADA FRANCE ITALY BELGIUM BRITAIN” with 1st Division red rectangle painted below, the interior contains over 30 sketches of satirical soldiers and war related moments, light wear, measures 135 mm (w) x 210 mm (h), wear to edges, a very unique book, very fine. 

Five black and white photos of soldiers, postcard reverse on three, creasing and wear to edges, from near very fine to better than very fine condition.
