R.N.V.R.): Association of Professional Fire Brigade Officers Long Service Medal (FIREMAN R. McCALL - 1930) [in silver, maker marked "A.M.", hallmarked with an anchor (made in Birmingham), the British lion and date marked "r" (1916) on the reverse]; and Glasgow Fire Brigade Long Service Medal, 2 Clasps - 5 YEARS, 20 YEARS (ROBERT NESS McCALL) [in silver, maker marked "A.M.", hallmarked with an anchor (made in Birmingham), the British lion and date marked "H" (1932) on the reverse]. Naming is officially impressed on the BWM and the VM, the Star is un-named, the two Glasgow Fire Brigade medals with the naming privately engraved in large capitals. Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, edge wear on the BWM, spotting on the VM, with a combination of original and replacement ribbons, better than very fine.
