“Ten Chapters 1942-1945” Book belonging to William Anothon Caderton Smelt, treasurer of North Borneo, who was interned by the Japanese from 1942 to 1945. A short book of ten chapters featuring photocopies of notes written by Prime Minister Churchill.
Three 1914 Valcartier Mobilization Medals in silvered bronze and bronze gilt, one missing the CANADA suspension, one with rifle attachment on the suspension, two with dark patina, all three very fine.
One Overseas Contingent Allies War 1915 Medal, in silvered bronze and bronze gilt, missing suspension, dark patina, fine.
Seven NWMP buttons, in brass, fine to very fine.
RNWMP Collar badge, brass, two lugs on the reverse, very fine.
A Red Service Medal, silver and enamelled, named to Miss E.L. Haines, marked BIRKS and STERLING, suspension engraved 1935, very fine.
A RNCVR Badge, in silver, to Maria Collard, marked STERLING, suspension loop at top, very fine.
A First War Canadian Class A Naval War Badge, in silver, numbered 1996 on reverse, marked W. SCULLY, pin on reverse, very fine.
A First War Canadian Class AA Naval War Badge, in silver, reverse numbered 4196, marked W. SCULLY, pin on reverse, very fine. Identified with Shipwright T.J Thorton, Imperial M-18045. He served in hostilities in December 1915. Accompanied by photocopies of three records.
Accompanied by two other badges and a PPM Police patch.
