A miniature, court mounted bar comprising six decorations, black felt on reverse with horizontal pin, measures 96.3 mm (w) x 53.2 mm (h), comprising:
A Miniature Companion of the Order of St. Michael and St. George, in silver gilt and enamels, 20.4 mm (w) x 32 mm (h), hand painted centerpieces, minor enamel flake to obverse inscription ring, extremely fine.
A Miniature Distinguished Service Order, in silver gilt and enamels, on original ribbon with second award bar, measures 19.8 mm (w) x 25.6 mm (h - inclusive of bar), light enamel wear to central wreath, light gilt wear, extremely fine.
A 1914-15 Star, in bronze gilt, reverse plain, original ribbon, measures 20.5 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), light wear, very fine.
A British War Medal, in silver, original ribbon, measures 18 mm (w) x 22 mm (h), dark patina, very fine.
A Victory Medal, in bronze gilt, on original ribbon with MID oak leaf cluster, measures 17.6 mm (w) x 21 mm (h), light wear, very fine.
An Order of St. Stanislaus, Military Division, in silver and enamels, crossed swords through the center, measures 18.3 mm (w) x 19.9 mm (h), enamel chip to the reverse medallion, dark patina, original ribbon, very fine.
Footnote: Norman St. Clair Campbell was born in 1877 and educated at the Royal Military College. He entered the Royal Artillery in March 1897. During the Great War he commanded the 13th Batter, R.F.A. at GAllipoli, being mentioned in despatches and awarded the D.S.O. He was appointed commanding officer of 69 Brigade R.F.A. in January 1916 and took the brigade to Mesopotamia the following month. For services with the brigade in Mesopotamia he was twice mentioned in despatches and awarded the Order of St. Stanislaus. In June 1918 he was appointed acting Commander Royal Artillery to the 13th Division in Mesopotamia, and served in that position until the end of the war. He was created C.M.G. and mentioned in despatches on a further three occasions. Placed on half pay in August 1921, he retired as Lieutenant Colonel on 4 March 1925, and died on June 30, 1949.

D.S.O. London Gazette 3 June 1916. The 29th Divisional Artillery history gives the following details: ‘GAllipoli, 1915. This officer was in the battery from the landings onwards and worked extremely hard. He kept his battery in an extremely efficient condition throughout all difficulties.’
