(Wehrmacht Ringkragen der Feldjägerkorps). Constructed of magnetic metal with a matte silver base paint, the obverse bearing a central raised Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated above a pebbled and patinated banner bearing a raised inscription of “FELDJÄGERKORPS” (“FIELD RIFLEMAN CORPS”), topped at the upper corners by flattened studs, with all obverse featuring retaining the vast majority of their original luminescent paint, the reverse bearing a rigid and lacquered brown card stock liner, the right corner topped by a loop retaining a multi-link magnetic metal neck chain, the left side with two clips for the accommodation of the chain and attachment to a uniform lapel, unmarked, the gorget measuring 16.5 cm (w) x 11 cm (h), demonstrating minor loss of paint throughout, a rare example worn by personnel of the most senior branch of Wehrmacht field police in near extremely fine condition.
