Germany, Wehrmacht. A Mixed Lot of Uniform Insignia for Officers and NCOs

(Wehrmacht Insignien). A mixed lot of insignia, including:

1. A matching set of Heer Correspondent/Propaganda Department collar tabs, each constructed of a dark green wool base with a buckram core and topped by dual silver aluminum wire insignia bisected by dark grey wire tresses, both unmarked and measuring 40 mm (w) x 70 mm (l), a scarce set in extremely fine condition.

2. An unusual matching set of Gendarmerie collar tabs, each constructed of orange wool with buckram cores and topped by dual silver aluminum wire insignia, both unmarked and measuring 32 mm (w) x 75 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition,

3. A Luftwaffe Gefreiter sleeve insignia, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a silver aluminum wire chevron, unmarked, measuring 80 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

4. A Luftwaffe Obergefreiter sleeve insignia, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing two silver aluminum wire chevrons bisected by a dark grey threaded tresse, unmarked, measuring 85 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.

5. Four shoulder board pips, each constructed of gilded brass, all unmarked, in extremely fine condition.
