(Insignien). A mixed lot of insignia, including:
1. A Heer General’s summer tunic breast eagle, constructed of gilded cupal, the obverse consisting of an elongated Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a block hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch emanating from an oval plate, with a stabilizer affixed to the wreath, unmarked, measuring 95 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), demonstrating near-total loss of gilt finish exposing the base metal, in very fine condition.
2. A matching set of Heer Panzer Troops Totenkopf collar tab devices, each constructed of feinzink and retaining all three integral attachment prongs, both unmarked and measuring 25 mm (w) x 22 mm (h), demonstrating near-total loss of finish to the base metal, in overall very fine condition.
3. A small medallion, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised profile of Ferdinand von Zeppelin, flanked by name, circumscribed by an inscription of “ZIEL ERKANNT - KRAFT GESPANNT!” (“DESTINATION KNOWN - POWER INTENSE!”), the reverse bearing a raised depiction of an airship flying against a Mainz skyline, circumscribed by an inscription indicating that the medallion was issued to commemorate the 1908 flight of LZ. 4, measuring 33 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
