(Wehrmacht Insignien). A mixed lot of insignia, including:
1. A Heer EM/NCO’s visor cap eagle, constructed of aluminum, the reverse bearing an illegible maker’s mark of manufacture date of “38”, measuring 65 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), missing all three of its attachment prongs, in very fine condition.
2. A mis-matched set of Heer Panzer collar tab devices, one constructed of silvered zink and the other of magnetic metal, both retaining all three reverse attachment prongs, both unmarked and measuring 24 mm (w) 23 mm (h), demonstrating near-total loss of silver finish, in overall very fine condition.
3. An edelweiss cap insignia, constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the reverse marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/52” for Deschler & Sohn, Munich, measuring 28 mm (w) x 50 mm (l), demonstrating near total loss of silver finish, in very fine condition.
4. A 1st Fallschirm-Panzer Division Hermann Göring cap eagle, constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 76 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
