(Auszeichnungen und Insignien). A mixed lot of awards and insignia, including:

1. A Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36.83 mm (w) x 44.24 mm (h), weighing 12.9 grams, demonstrating minor loss of finish to high-contact points, in near extremely fine condition.

2. A Luftwaffe Western France District Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a map of France overlaid by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, topped by an inscription of “ALLES FÜR DEUTSCHLAND” (“EVERYTHING FOR GERMANY”), the reverse bearing a wreathed inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTLEISTUNGEN IM BEREICH DES FELDLUFTGAUKOMMANDOS WESTFRANKREICH” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE FIELD AIR COMMAND OF WESTERN FRANCE”), unmarked, measuring 41.16 mm in diameter, weighing 32.2 demonstrating sporadic oxidation, demonstrating minor oxidation and tarnishing to the obverse, in better than very fine condition.

3. A Heer Gebirgsjäger Enlisted ranks sleeve insignia, constructed of field-grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss, situated within a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 68 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
