(Insignien). A mixed lot of 12 uniform insignia, including:
1. A matching set of Heer Cavalry/Reconnaissance Officer’s collar tabs, each constructed of dark green wool with buckram cores and topped by dual machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire insignia, the latter bisected by golden-yellow tresses, both unmarked and measuring 40 mm (w) x 65 mm (l), with extensive material fatigue evident, in uniform-removed and fair condition.
2. A Heer Armoured Officer’s collar tab, constructed of dark green wool with a buckram cored and topped by dua machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire insignia, the latter bisected by a rose-pink tresse, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 70 mm (l), with minor material fatigue evident, in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.
3. A Heer Gebirgsjäger Officer’s collar tab, constructed of dark green wool with a buckram core and topped by dual silver aluminum wire tresses, the latter bisected by light green threaded tresses, the reverse retaining a sales label, measuring 40 mm (w) x 70 mm (l), with oxidation evident to the wire and material fatigue throughout, in uniform-removed and fair condition.
4. A Heer Signals arm insignia, constructed of dark green wool with silver-grey machine embroidery, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), with a small patch of mothing visible, in near extremely fine condition.
5. A Heer Officer’s visor cap wreath, constructed of padded dark green wool backer, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire oak leaf wreath, the reverse retaining a price label, measuring 68 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), missing its cockade, in very fine condition.
6. An unissued Heer Officer’s dress uniform cuff insignia, constructed of a dark green wool backer with a buckram underlay, topped by a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire insignia, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), in near mint condition.
7. A group of three Luftwaffe Field Division or Wehrmachtbeamte collar tabs, all constructed of dark green wool with buckram cores and trimmed with twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire piping, all unmarked and measuring 45 mm (w) x 60 mm (l), two demonstrating extensive mothing and material fatigue, in overall fair condition.
8. A Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) Oberfeldmeister/Unterfeldmeister collar tab, constructed of black doeskin wool with a buckram core and topped by a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire insignia, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 65 mm (l), with oxidation evident to the wire, in very fine condition.
9. An RAD unit sleeve insignia, constructed of black rayon with multi-coloured machine embroidery, the obverse bearing a Reichsleitung des Reichsarbeitsdienstes (RLAD) logo, measuring 75 mm (w) x 110 mm (h), in unissued and near extremely fine condition.
