Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Stick Pins for Military and Political Service

(Anstecknadeln). A mixed lot of stick pins, including:

1. One constructed of silvered and blackened bronze, featuring three Wehrmacht awards, including a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, an Eastern Front Medal, and a Black Grade Wound Badge, unmarked, measuring 20 mm (w) x 10 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.

2. An SA Sports Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered bronze, unmarked, measuring 18 mm (w) x 24 mm (h), demonstrating near-total loss of silver finish, in very fine condition.

3. A DRL Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze, the reverse maker marked “WERNSTEIN, JENA”, measuring 14 mm (w) x 18 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

4. A Coburg Honour Badge, constructed of tombak, the obverse consisting of a central mobile swastika, overlaid by a downward-pointing sword, with a Coburg skyline flanking the hilt, circumscribed by an inscription of “MIT H IN COBURG” (“WITH H IN COBURG”), unmarked, measuring 12 mm (w) x 18 mm (h), demonstrating some distortion of finish rendering grade indeterminate, in extremely fine condition.

5. A Sturmabteilung (SA) membership pin, constructed of silvered bronze, the reverse marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/14” for Matthias Oechsler & Sohn, Ansbach, measuring 16 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

6. A Kyffhäuser League membership badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, unmarked, measuring 15 mm (w) x 16 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
