Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Patriotic Plaques

(Plaketten). A mixed lot of patriotic plaques, including: 

1. A large AH plaque, constructed of a black-painted wooden base, the obverse bearing a gilded alloy leftward-facing profile of AH, the reverse bearing a central rivet securing the plaque in place, topped by a suspension ring, unmarked, measuring 12 cm (w) x 19 cm (h), demonstrating loss of finish to the profile in addition to scratching of the wooden base, in very fine condition.

2. A small AH plaque, constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward-facing profile of AH, above an inscription of “DIE VORAUSSETZUNG ZUR TAT IST DER WILLE UND DER MUT ZUR WAHRHAFTIGKEIT” (“THE PREREQUISITE FOR ACTION IS THE WILL AND COURAGE TO BE TRUTHFUL”), the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “ERSTE, VOM FÜHRER UND DER REICHSLEITUNG FÜR SEHR GUT BEFUNDENE, NACH NATURSTUDIEN GEARBEITETE PLAKETTE”, topped by a suspension ring and maker’s mark of “ADOLF TRUMPF, DÜSSELDORF”, measuring 9.5 cm (w) x 14 cm (h), in extremely fine condition. 

3. A Wehrmacht paperweight, constructed of a lacquered wooden base with a weighted core, the obverse bearing a bronze plaque overlaid by a raised and rightward-facing profile of a Heer soldier wearing a Stahlhelm, flanked by a Wehrmacht eagle and engraver mark, measuring 8.5 cm (w) x 12.5 cm (l) overall, demonstrating some oxidation and scratching to the plaque and core, respectively, in better than very fine condition.
