(Insignien). A mixed lot of nine insignia, including:
1. A Kriegsmarine sailor’s cap insignia, constructed of silvered zink with aluminum, the obverse consisting of a Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, in turn affixed to a tri-colour cockade, unmarked, measuring 54 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), missing its attachment prongs and demonstrating loss of silver finish to the eagle, in very fine condition.
2. A Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s breast eagle, constructed of a dark grey cotton backer, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), demonstrating soiling and material fatigue throughout, in uniform-removed fair condition.
3. A Luftwaffe Officer’s visor cap wreath and cockade, constructed of a black cotton/rayon-blended backer, the obverse bearing a hand-embroidered silver aluminum wire oak leaf wreath, surrounding a tri-colour cockade and flanked by stylized wings, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.
4. A matching set of Luftwaffebeamte (Administration) Kriegsoberinspektor collar tabs, each constructed of dark green wool with buckram cores, trimmed with twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire piping, and bearing two silver aluminum wire pips above an oak leaf wreath of identical construction, both unmarked and measuring 45 mm (w) x 60 mm (l), the reverse of both bearing the remnants of an adhesive from previous display, in near extremely fine condition.
5. A Deutsches Arbeitsfront (German Labour Front/DAF) cap badge, constructed of magnetic metal with multi-coloured machine embroidery, the reverse retaining one half of its attachment prong, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo, measuring 40 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), in very fine condition.
6. An NSRL Sports Badge, Bronze Grade cloth version, constructed of black rayon with golden-brown machine-embroidery, unmarked, measuring 60 mm in diameter, demonstrating minor material fatigue, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.
7. A pair of Coastal Artillery insignia, each constructed of field-grey wool with golden-yellow machine embroidery, both unmarked and demonstrating moderate material fatigue, in very fine condition.
