(Insignien). A mixed lot of insignia, including:
1. A Kriegsmarine EM/NCO’s breast eagle, constructed of dark navy blue wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered golden-yellow Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 100 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.
2. A Heer Obergefreiter rank insignia, constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing two silver aluminum wire chevrons and a single machine-embroidered silver-grey pip, unmarked, measuring 76 mm (w) x 75 mm (h), demonstrating minor mothing and material fatigue, in uniform-removed and better than very fine condition.
3. A Schutzpolizei cap insignia, constructed of a black wool and police-green rayon backer bearing multi-coloured machine embroidery, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 60 mm (h) overall, in near extremely fine condition.
4. A Schutzpolizei sleeve insignia, constructed of a dark police-green wool backer, the obverse bearing an Ordnungspolizei insignia in the form of a machine-embroidered green oval oak leaf wreath overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 78 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
5. A Schutzmannschaft (Schuma) EM/NCO’s cap insignia, constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered insignia in the form of a silver-grey mobile swastika situated within an oval oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
