(Insignien). A mixed lot of seven insignia, including:
1. A matching set of Heer Medical Oberleutnant shoulder boards, each constructed of dark navy blue wool with card stock cores, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, and pinned with a single silvered bronze rank pip, both unmarked and measuring 32 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), demonstrating moderate material fatigue throughout, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.
2. A Heer NCO’s breast eagle, constructed of a dark green rayon base affixed to a wool backer of identical colour, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 105 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), demonstrating material fatigue throughout, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.
3. A Heer Gebirgsjäger EM/NCO’s sleeve insignia, constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss, surrounding by a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
4. A Heer Gefreiter sleeve insignia, constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing a silver aluminum wire chevron, unmarked, measuring 82 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
5. A Luftwaffe Flak/Artillery Unteroffizier shoulder strap, constructed of dark grey wool with a blue wool underlay, trimmed with red piping, and bordered by a silver aluminum wire tresse, the reverse bearing an integral strap, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.
6. A Customs Service Zollbetriebassistent shoulder board, constructed of dark green wool, topped by two bands of green rayon threaded piping interspersed with silver aluminum wire chevrons, around two bands of silver aluminum wire piping interspersed with green threaded chevrons, and pinned with a silvered bronze Customs Service cypher, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 105 mm (l), in uniform-removed and very fine condition.
