Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Cloth Insignia

(Insignien - Stoffausführung). A mixed lot of cloth insignia, including:

1. A National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) sleeve insignia, constructed of olive-drab wool, the obverse bearing a layer of olive-drab rayon threading, in turn bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire NSKK eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse retaining an intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label bearing a maker’s code of “A4/134” for Ewald Vorsteher, Wuppertal-Wichlinghausen, measuring 95 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

2. An unusual Officer-grade edelweiss insignia, constructed of a dark green wool base with aluminum wire embroidery, the reverse retaining an intact black paper liner, unmarked, measuring 32 mm w) x 50 mm (l), in extremely fine condition.

3. A sheet of two Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery cap eagles, constructed of dark green rayon, the obverse bearing machine-embroidered golden-yellow Wehrmacht eagles clutching wreathed mobile swastikas, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of French manufacture for Wehrmacht personnel stationed in occupied territories, measuring 155 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in unissued and mint condition.
