(Abzeichen und Insignien). A mixed lot of badges and insignia, including:
1. An NSDAP membership badge, constructed of zink, horizontal pinback, the reverse marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/14” for Matthias Oechsler & Sohn, Ansbach, measuring 23 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
2. A matching set of Heer Panzer Troops collar tab Totenkopf devices, each constructed of magnetic metal, both unmarked and measuring 23 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), both demonstrating loss of silver finish throughout, in very fine condition.
3. An Ordnungspolizei cap insignia, first pattern, constructed of silvered bronze, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 44 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
4. A Political cap eagle, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/17” for F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 55 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
5. An HJ Leader’s cap eagle, constructed of silvered feinzink, the reverse retaining two of three attachment prongs, marked with an RZM logo and maker code “M1/100” for Werner Redo, Saarlautern, measuring 62 mm (w) x 34 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
6. A Kyffhäuser League cap eagle, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining all attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 65 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
7. A DRL Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a ribbon defaced by a mobile swastika, surrounding stylized initials “DRL”, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “ERNST L. MÜLLER, PFORZHEIM”, measuring 38 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating some loss of finish, in near extremely fine condition.
