(Abzeichen und Insignien). A mixed lot of four badges and insignia, including:
1. A Silver Grade Wound Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting an integral catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “65” for Klein & Quenzer, Idar-Oberstein, measuring 37.09 mm (w) x 44.34 mm (h), weighing 30.7 grams, with moderate oxidation and loss of finish evident throughout, in very fine condition.
2. A Russian Liberation Army sleeve shield, constructed of white cotton, the obverse bearing a printed unit insignia, unmarked, measuring 75 mm (w) x 75 mm (h),with minor soiling evident, in unissued and extremely fine condition.
3. A Deutsches Jungolk (DJ) Proficiency Badge, constructed of cupal, the obverse consisting of a Sig rune, overlaid by a central mobile swastika, set within a circular ring bearing an inscription of “FÜR LEISTUNGEN IM D.J.” (“FOR MERIT IN THE D.J.”), the reverse with a vertical pinback, stamped with an issue number of “85541” and marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/15” for Ferdinand Hoffstätter, Bonn, measuring 29.70 mm (w) x 44.10 mm (h), weighing 5.4 grams, with moderate loss of finish evident, in very fine condition.
4. A trench art brooch, consisting of an Imperial-era Bavarian tunic button soldered to a bullet on a loop, unmarked, measuring 28 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
