(Auszeichnungen, Abzeichen und Insignien). A mixed lot of badges and insignia, including:

1. A War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939”, unmarked, measuring 32.23 mm in diameter, weighing 12.9 grams, in near mint condition.

2. An NSDAP membership badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, marked with a Reichzeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/100” for Werner Redo, Saarlautern, measuring 24 mm in diameter, demonstrating some flecking and scratching to the enamels, in near extremely fine condition.

3. A Heer Gebirgsjäger Enlisted ranks Gebirgsjäger sleeve insignia, constructed of field-grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss, situated within a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 56 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

4. A First World War Central Powers patriotic badge, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 38 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
