1. A War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 47.46 mm (w) x 47.82 mm (h), weighing 22.1 grams, in very fine condition.
2. A 1939 Iron Cross I Class, constructed of iron and silver, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central mobile swastika, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1939”, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, the centre stamped with an inscription of “OST” (“EAST”), the pinback maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “26” for B.H. Mayer, Pforzheim, measuring 43.85 mm (w) x 44.26 mm (h), weighing 18.5 grams, the frame has been vaulted post-manufacture and the core demonstrates loss of finish with consequent oxidation, in fair condition.
3. A Kriegsmarine Officer’s cap eagle, constructed of a dark navy blue wool base, the obverse bearing a gold celluloid Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 72 mm (w) x 35 mm (h) in near extremely fine condition.
4. A Kriegsmarine Officer’s cap insignia, constructed of padded dark navy blue wool, the obverse bearing a central tri-colour wire cockade, situated within a gold celluloid oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
5. An Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Latin Cross with its arms joined through the quadrants by stylized rays, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a black swastika, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse bearing an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, measuring 35.36 mm (w) x 45.38 mm (h), weighing 13.9 grams (inclusive of ribbon), demonstrating some scratching to the enamel, in near extremely fine condition.
6. A Romanian Faithful Service Medal, III Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, the medal measuring 33.31 mm in diameter, in better than very fine condition.
