(Tagesabzeichen). A grouping of six German day badges.
1-2) A pair of bronze washed Duetsch 1st Die Saar 1934 badges, the obverse of an octagon shape, depicts an early closed winged eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, above two shaking hands (one has a chained wrist), and a podium that reads “1934 DES DEUTSCHEN EHRE IST DIE TREUE,” the tops and sides read “DEUTSCH 1ST DIE SAAR,” the reverse shows a hollow back and horizontal pin, and both are in good condition.
3) A 1939 Reichsparteitag badge, constructed of zink, a circular badge that presents a female figure and child, a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse presents a horizontal pin, maker mark “GUSTAV KÖRTEL PETERSWALD SUDETEN,” measures 41 mm in diameter, and in good condition.
4) A 1934 National Day of Labour Badge, constructed of die-stamped bronze in a circular shape, obverse presents various symbols such as the hammer, sickle, and national eagle, maker mark on obverse under eagle wing, reverse shows horizontal pin, measures 35 mm in diameter, and in fine condition.
5) A 1929 Calw District Warrior Day badge, a badge in the shape of a Spanish shield, the obverse depicts the city of Calw and a stahlhelm, the inscription “CALW BEZIRKS KRIEGER TAG 1929” borders the shield’s edge, the reverse presents a vertical pin, maker mark “MAYER & WILHELM STUTTGART,” measures 22.5 mm (w) x 29 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
6) An identity disc, stating “15 MARK / 11572 / 1903,” measures 29 mm (w) 33.5 mm (h), and in good condition.
