Germany, Third Reich. A Grouping of Five Membership and Supporter’s Badges and Stick Pins

A fine grouping of five Third Reich German badges and stick pins, consisting of:

1. A National Socialist Women’s League Member (Nationalsozialistische Frauenschaft Mitgliedsabzeichen). A triangular pin, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, marked “Gesetzlich Geschützt” on the reverse, measuring 39.1 mm (w) x 43.7 mm (l), weighing 12.28 grams, with extensive hairline cracking towards the bottom third of the badge, in near very fine condition. 

2. A National Socialist Women’s League Member (Nationalsozialistische Frauenschaft Mitgliedsabzeichen). A triangular pin, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, marked “Gesetzlich Geschützt”, “W.Z. 445379” as well as maker marked “Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid” on the reverse, measuring 39.2 mm (w) x 43.4 mm (l), weighing 11.56 grams, in better than very fine condition. 

3. A 1931 ‘Der Stahlhelm’ Veteran’s Association Membership Badge (Der Stahlhelm Diensteintrittsabzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze with black enamels, the obverse consists of a black enameled disc, bearing a silvered date of “1931” topped by oak leaves and a raised Stahlhelm insignia, the reverse missing its vertical pinback but with the hinge and catch present, inscribed “IV.Mi.699” as well as “26.4.31” on the reverse, measuring 30.5 mm in diameter, weighing 10.39 grams, the enamels well preserved but the pinback missing, in better than fine condition. 

4. A Kyffhäuser League 25-Year Membership Pin, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, marked “Gesetzlich Geschützt” on the reverse, with an approximately 52 mm lightly knurled stick pin, with most of its original finish present and with the enamels well preserved, in better than very fine condition. 

5. A 1933 Kassel Heeresmeisterschaften Competition Badge, constructed of silvered tombac, with a vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 39.7 mm (w) x 40.3 mm (l), in near very fine condition.
