Description

(Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Print mit Unterschrift). Constructed of paper stock, the obverse bearing a full-colour and exceptionally detailed illustration of Tiger 134, flanked by a signature of “RESTAYN” for Jean Restayn, and situated above the handwritten signature of Panzer ace Willi Fey (Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, 29 April 1945), the reverse featuring a lengthy French-language text chronicling Fey’s campaign with black-and-white photographs, measuring 41.5 cm (w) x 29.5 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.

Footnote: While serving with the Waffen-SS, Wilhelm "Willi" Fey is credited with the destruction of 69 Allied tanks and vehicles during the Normandy campaign of 1945, and also fought with distinction on the Eastern Front and during the Battle of the Bulge. Fey survived the war and subsequently resumed his military career with the Bundeswehr.
