Constructed of gilded feinzink, the obverse bearing a raised NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “REICHSWETTKÄMPFE DER SA BERLIN 1938” (“NATIONAL SPORTS GAMES OF THE SA BERLIN 1938”), the reverse bearing a raised depiction of the Sturmabteilung (SA) Sports Badge in the form of a circular oak leaf wreath surrounding a mobile swastika overlaid by a sword, situated above an inscription of “DEM SIEGER” (“TO THE VICTOR”), unmarked, measuring 92 mm in diameter, accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a pressed card stock frame with a faux brown leather exterior liner, the interior with a grey felt lid liner and fitted medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 130 mm (w) x 130 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
