In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Reichsarbeitsdienst Einheitsfeldmütze M43 für Mannschaften). A very well-preserved Reichsarbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service/RAD) Enlisted M43-style visored field cap, constructed of olive-drab wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold-down side panels, scalloped toward the front, providing optional ear and neck protection to the wearer. When not in use, the panels are rolled up and fixed in place with a single pebbled aluminum button which emanates from the right and fits through a reinforced buttonhole on the left. The button is maker marked on the reverse with the logo of Klein & Quenzer, Idar-Oberstein. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of an olive-drab wool base bearing a machine-embroidered, multi-coloured RAD logo, measuring 55 mm (w) x 45 mm (h) overall. A protruding visor completes the exterior features, and consists of a rigid card stock core fully lined in identical wool. The interior is encompassed by a multi-piece brown cotton liner, which is stamped on the crown with a black ink size mark of “58”. Otherwise unmarked, the cap measures approximately 20 cm (w) x 26 cm (l) x 14 cm (h). Two cracks are palpable to the visor core, but the cap demonstrates not other notable damage or wear and remains in a near extremely fine condition.
