Germany, NSFK. A 1944 Model Indoor Aircraft Competition Victor’s Plaque, with Case

(NSFK Plakette mit Etui). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse bearing a central raised NSFK insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of “DER KORPSFÜHRER DES NATIONALSOZIALISTISCHEN FLIEGERKORPS” (“THE CORPS LEADER OF THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST FLYERS CORPS”), the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “DEM SIEGER IM REICHSWETTBEWERB FÜR HALLENFLUGMODELLE 1944” (“TO THE VICTOR IN THE NATIONAL INDOOR MODEL AIRCRAFT COMPETITION 1944”), situated above the facsimile signature of Alfred Keller, unmarked, measuring 82 mm in diameter, accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a heavy pressed card stock frame with a faux maroon leather exterior liner, the interior with a padded satin lid liner bearing a gilt inscription of “NATIONALSOZIALISTISCHES FLIEGERKORPS - DER KORPSFÜHRER”, with a fitted maroon velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 110 mm (w) x 110 mm (l) x 22 mm (h), demonstrating loss of finish and minor surface oxidation to the plaque, in addition to minor material fatigue to the case, in better than very fine condition.
