Germany, NSFK. A 1939 Rhineland Flight Commemorative Medallion, with Case

(Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps Rheinlandflug Erinnerungsmedaille mit Etui). Constructed of silver-plated magnetic metal, the obverse bearing an engraved NSFK insignia, situated above an inscription of “RHEINLANDFLUG 1939” (“RHINELAND FLIGHT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a pressed card stock frame with a faux black leather exterior liner, the interior with a padded white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, the former bearing a dedication of “NATIONALSOZIALISTISCHES FLIEGERKORPS GRUPPE 12 (NIEDERRHEIN)”, with a fitted dark blue velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 75 mm (w) x 75 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), the lid exterior of the lid demonstrating some material wear, in overall extremely fine condition.
