(NSFK Zielstrecken-Segelflug-Wettbewerb Plakette mit Etui und Urkunde). Constructed of a coppered bronze alloy, the obverse bearing a central raised National Socialist Flyers Corps insignia, circumscribed by inscriptions of “NATIONALSOZIALISTISCHES FLIEGERKORPS” and “ZIELSTRECKEN-SEGELFLUG-WETTBEWERB 1938” (“TARGETED GLIDING COMPETITION 1938”), the reverse bearing an inscription of “MIT UNSEREM FÜHRER IM GLEICHEN SCHRITT UND TRITT FLIEGER WIR FÜR UNSER EWIGES DEUTSCHLAND” (colloquially translating to “IN LOCK STEP WITH OUR LEADER WE TAKE FLIGHT FOR OUR ETERNAL GERMANY”), as quoted from NSFK Korpsführer (Leader) Friedrich Christiansen, stamped with an award number of “92”, measuring 93 mm (w) x 75 mm (h), accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a pressed card stock frame with a faux black leather exterior liner, the interior with a retractable white rayon lid liner, bearing a gilt dedication from the Korpsführer and accommodating an award document, named to NSFK recipient “STEUßLOFF”, dated 3 July 1938 and issued in Berlin, the case additionally featuring a fitted dark blue velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 120 mm (w) x 100 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
