A 1938 edition of Pimpf im Dienst: Ein Handbuch für das Deutsche Jungvolk in der HJ (“Pimpf in Service: A Handbook for the German Youngers in the HJ”), constructed of a card stock binding with a canvas exterior liner, the cover bearing a black printed depiction of a DJ member pounding a drum, the interior content consisting of 312 paginated pages, opening with a brief dedication from Jugendführer Baldur von Schirach, followed by content consisting of sports and other physical activities performed in the DJ, complete with diagrams, followed by similar content depicting field activity (including map reading), published by Ludwig Voggenreiter Verlag, Potsdam, measuring 13 cm (w) x 19 cm (h), demonstrating faint damp staining and minor fatigue to the exterior, a well-preserved example in extremely fine condition.
