In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
(Heer Zeltbahn M31). A well-preserved Heer M31 Zeltbahn (poncho/shelter), constructed of a weather-hardened cotton drill cloth base, featuring a double-sided machine-rolled Splittertarnmuster (Splinter Pattern) camouflage consisting of a predominantly olive-drab base overlaid by irregular patterns of dark breen and dark brown, all overlaid by green splinters throughout, featuring a central reinforced collar fastening closed with two zink buttons meeting reinforced buttonholes, with two of the three edges featuring zink buttons and reinforced buttonholes at approximately 21 cm intervals, with all three corners also perforated with eyelets reinforced with aluminum grommets for the insertion of stakes when used as a shelter, the edge stamped with a maker’s mark of “L.L.G. SEGELMACHER BERLIN”, indicating production by a consortium of outdoor cloth gear manufacturers, as well as a date of “1940”, measuring approximately 240 cm (w) x 175 cm (h) when spread out on a flat surface, demonstrating some oxidation to a small number of buttons but with no notable damage or wear, in extremely fine condition.
