In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

A Heer EM/NCO’s belt and buckle set, the former constructed of blackened leather, one end stitched into a loop for the inclusion of a non-magnetic metal hook, the opposite end featuring a reverse tongue perforated with eight sets of dual eyelets for an adjustable fit, the hook end stamped with a manufacture date of “1935” and an illegible maker’s mark, measuring 4.5 cm (w) x 100 cm (l), demonstrating minor and age-appropriate material fatigue throughout, in better than very fine condition; the latter constructed of grey painted magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, the latter retaining an original leather strap stamped with a maker’s mark of “BRÜDER SCHNEIDER, WIEN”, circumscribing a manufacture date of “1942”, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of finish and denting to the top and bottom edges, in near extremely fine condition.
