In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
(Heer Feldbluse M44 für Mannschaften der Nachrichtentruppe). A very well-preserved Heer Signals Enlisted personnel M44 service tunic, constructed of a coarse field-grey wool cloth. It features a turned-down collar flanked on each side by a tab constructed of silver-grey rayon, topped by four dark grey bars, measuring 22 mm (w) x 60 mm (l). The shoulders are flanked by straps constructed of field-grey wool and trimmed with light yellow piping. Each measuring 42 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), the straps are fixed in position at the outer edges with integral loops and on the inner edges with pebbled metal buttons. The cuff of each sleeve features a hidden vertical slit fastening closed with a pressed card stock button meeting two reinforced buttonholes for an adjustable fit. A single pocket is set into each breast flap, each closing with a horizontal flap perforated with a reinforced buttonhole, in turn meeting a pebbled metal button. Stitched onto the upper right breast just above the pocket is an insignia consisting of a triangular field-grey rayon base bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 95 mm (w) x 45 mm (h). The waist is perforated with two reinforced eyelets which retain aluminum belt hooks, while the blouse closes with six pebbled metal buttons on the right breast meet an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the left. The interior of the breasts is partially encompassed by a silver-grey rayon liner with a pronounced herringbone twill (HBT) pattern. A single interior pocket is set into each flap, while the left is stamped with a Reichsbetriebsnummer of “0/1297/0008”, indicating manufacture by Hanisch & Co., Proßnitz, in turn situated above size dimensions and a manufacture date of “44”. The blouse measures approximately 46 cm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 61 cm, and an overall body length of 58 cm when folded on a flat surface. Demonstrating only minor signs of soiling and wear, this desirable late-war M44 field blouse remains in an extremely fine condition.
