In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Wehrmacht Tropenhose). An example of tropical Wehrmacht (Heer) service trousers as worn by enlisted personnel in the entire Mediterranean theater of war, including Africa and Southern Italy. This pair of service trousers is constructed of heavy duty cotton corduroy, the front with one diagonal-slit pocket at waist height per side, with a horizontal-slit fob pocket to the left of the right-side pocket, with an additional horizontal-slit pocket on the ride side of the reverse, secured shut a single stamped zink button. The front flaps are secured shut via six matching vertically mounted stamped zink buttons that are met by matching reinforced button-holes on the opposing side. On the waistline is an integrated belt, exiting through the front, weaved through a three-claw magnetic buckle, and then weaved through a single belt loop. These trousers are unlined, for the exception of the waistband, crotch, and pockets, which are lined with off-white cotton. On the inside seam of these trousers are a total of four stamped zink buttons mounted to beltholes, with the addition of two more straps towards the rear of the waistband with matching stamped zink buttons on the ends, for the suspension of optional suspenders. On each cuff is a 14 cm long slit with the bootstraps torn off. This pair measures approximately 41 cm across the waist (seam to seam), with an inseam of 61 cm, and an overall length of 89 cm. A field-worn example, demonstrating material fatigue and light soiling from wear, in overall very fine condition.
