1. A Heer EM/NCO’s belt buckle, constructed of silvered magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) with oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, maker marked with the logo of Dr. Franke & Co., Lüdenscheid, flanked by a manufacture date of “42”, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating near-total loss of silver finish to the base metal with consequent surface oxidation, a mid-war and field-worn example in very fine condition.
2. A second Heer EM/NCO’s belt buckle, constructed of grey-painted magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) with oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, retaining a period brown leather strap bearing a maker’s mark of “BRÜDER SCHNEIDER, WIEN”, circumscribing a manufacture date “1940”, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating significant loss of paint throughout resulting in minor surface oxidation, in very fine condition.
3. A Heer Medical Leutnant shoulder board, constructed of a blue wool base with a rigid card stock core, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, and pinned with a gilded Medical Personnel device, also retaining a mis-matched period buttons from a Political Leader’s uniform, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), demonstrating material fatigue throughout, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.
4. An Imperial Heer EM/NCO’s belt buckle, constructed of magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, situated within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) with laurel branches, the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of finish throughout, in better than very fine condition.
